2007 Festival for Korean Gayageum and Western Instruments

April 22 - April 28, 2007 (Events in California) | June 18 - June 22, 2007 (Events in Seoul, Korea)

 

12-string Korean Gayageum (zither) virtuosos Eun-Ah Kwak, Hee-Jeong Kim, and Yu-Sun Kim will join with the Bay Area performers to present 17 world premiere compositions by Yu-Hui Chang, David Cope, Andrew Imbrie, David Evan Jones, Hi Kyung Kim, Sung-Ki Kim, Young-Ja Lee as well as compositions by graduate student composers from UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis.
